Pilates For Pregnancy

There’s scientific proof that exercise before and during pregnancy can prevent excess weight gain, reduce the risk of low birth weight, foetal distress and premature birth and help prevent pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, lower back/pelvic pain and urinary incontinence. Pilates has also been shown to improve mental health and reduce pain. Learn how to work with pre- and post-natal clients in the Pilates environment.
